What is www.soldiersibs.org?
www.soldiersibs.org is designed to be a safe website for the children and teens affected by the deployment of the 215th QMCO to air their thoughts, their fears, and to share their ideas. Kids can help each other during difficult times, and we want to provide the opportunity for them to do so with a minimum of parental involvement. We will not sell any products, share any names, or require payment of any kind.

What kinds of entries are permitted on www.soldiersibs.org?
Any thoughts, ideas, quotations, or other forms of expression, including photos and pictures, are welcome on the site, as long as they remain in good taste and do not hurt others. While the site administrators are not promoting censorship of free thought, we do reserve the right to remove postings that are offensive, or that violate any civil rights or decency guidelines. This site is for kids, so we intend to maintain a wholesome and healthy environment for them.

I worry about internet predators – how do I know my kids will be safe at www.soldiersibs.org?
Great question! Internet security is important for everyone, most particularly for kids. This site will be both administered and monitored by members of the 215th FRG, and access is restricted to family members and others authorized by the FRG. Each user of the site will be required to register, and each registration form will be checked against a list of FRG families. If you don’t belong here, you can’t get into the site – simple as that.

So my kids can sign up – what about cousins?
If relatives try to sign up for the site, we’ll hold their registration until we can double-check with the family. There may be a delay in granting them access, but there’s no reason they can’t join the site and support their loved ones.
